FRAMES POLICY


Terms & Conditions

A non-refundable initial deposit for your event (the “event”) equal to 100% of the contracted amount is due and payable by the undersigned (hereinafter “you” or “your”) to Big Bowl, LLC d/b/a Frames Bowling Lounge NYC ( “Frames”) upon signing of the contract.  No event space will be held beyond 48 hours without a signed contract and the required deposit. Changes to the menu or headcount will require a revised contract and are subject to Frames’ approval.  In any event, guaranteed guest count may not decrease more than 10% from the original contracted amount.

Along with any revisions to the contract, the initial deposit will be applied against the final balance owed for the event. Final minimum headcount and menu selection(s) are required no later than 14 days prior to the date of your event, at which time payment in full of the balance owed (if in excess of the initial deposit paid) for the event is required.  No changes to the menu will be accepted beyond this date. Additional guests may be added at any time upon approval of Frames Bowling Lounge NYC and availability and will incur an additional fee. You must purchase the same package for all guests in your party. There is no mixing and matching.

You must present identification with credit card used to purchase the reservation upon your arrival at the Front Desk. To deter against fraudulent activity, our credit card transactions are now linked to the NYPD cyber-crimes unit. Anyone attempting to use a stolen or fake credit card will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, by order of the NYPD. No personal checks will be accepted as payment.Under no circumstance will corporate checks be accepted within 7 business days of the event date.

Food is portioned per guest. You will have a server throughout all aspects of the facility to get you any additional food or beverage that you wish to order upon arrival. Additional food may be ordered at the discretion of the event host at an additional cost. No outside food or beverage may be brought into our facility with the exception of kosher/hallal food ($15pp plate charge). Although we will do our bests to honor your lane requests, we are unable to guarantee specific lane selections due to the high volume of events. All bowling reservations are to begin at the set time agreed upon this contract. It is recommended guests to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time to select balls and shoes.

By agreeing to this contract you accept that 1 hour of bowling (or any other entertainment activity such as karaoke, pool, ping pong etc.) equals 55 minutes of actual bowling time on the lanes (or other entertainment activity as the case may be), and that the remaining 5 minutes is dedicated to clearing the lanes and performing other clean-up/preparatory work before a new party begins.

Any extension of bowling time (or other form of entertainment) is at an additional cost and based on availability and the discretion of the manager on duty.  At the conclusion of the bowling time, all guests must relocate their personal belongings to the designated party area which you will be directed to by a staff member of Frames.
 
Booking Fee: Please note that a Booking Fee equal to $1 per guest will be assessed by Frames.  This Booking Fee is a fee intended to offset costs associated with administration of the event.  This fee is not a gratuity or a tip and will not be distributed to the employees who provide service to guests at the event.   

Frames is a 21-and-older facility after 8PM Monday through Saturday. Even if accompanied by an Adult. Photo Identification must be provided by all indiviuals.

All ages are allowed in at all times on Sundays but must be accompanied by an adult after 8PM. Frames Bowling Lounge NYC maxes out at 5 players per lane for 1 hour reservations and 7 players per lane for 2 hour reservations. All children’s birthday party packages must be completed by 5PM, Monday through Sunday.  Please be aware we, on occasion, have a house photographer/videographer that may potentially capture members of your party. By signing this document you are agreeing that these images/videos are the exclusive property of Frames and may be used for marketing or other purposes at Frames’ discretion and you hereby authorize Frames to record, video, and photograph the likeness and/or voice of you and members of your party and to use such photographs and/or recordings in connection with  Frames’ business activities, including for publicity and marketing purposes and that neither you nor any member of your party shall have any claim or expectation for compensation in connection with any such use .  

Dress code is strictly enforced at all times. No construction boots, no baggy jeans, no oversized chains, no sweatpants, no sweatshirts, no sports jerseys, no sleeveless shirts. Business Casual attire only.  It is up to the discretion of our Door Staff whether your guests will be allowed in, so everyone should dress appropriately keeping the dress code in mind. Even with a reservation, guests will NOT be allowed into the venue if they do not adhere to this dress code policy. No exceptions.

 If you have purchased a beverage package as part of this agreement, please note that alcohol service is NOT unlimited and will be monitored for responsible and reasonable consumption, although ultimately you and your guests are responsible for ensuring that any alcohol you choose to consume is done so responsibly.  In addition, 'shots' and 'doubles' are NOT included in any package. Guests requesting these options will be offered to purchase them separately at full retail price unless the service of said beverages exceeds the threshold for responsible and reasonable consumption. Management reserves the right to refuse/stop service of alcoholic beverages for any reason in its sole discretion to ensure the safety of our guests and employees. No exceptions.
 
 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and Frames, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, owners, principals, officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives, forever harmless from, and against, any and all personal injury, property damage, loss, liability or claim of liability, expenses, fines and penalties including reasonable legal fees directly or indirectly arising out of or in any way connected with the event you are hereby booking, including but not limited to, as a result of your actions or the actions of any of the guests of your party.


Cancellation Policy

No cash refunds will be given under any circumstances. All refunds are given as in-house credit only pursuant to the following schedule. Up to 30 days prior to your event, you may receive 100% of your deposit in in-house credit. Between 30 and 14 days prior to your event you may receive 50% of your deposit in in-house credit with the rest forfeited to Frames. Within 14 days of your event, your entire deposit shall be forfeited to Frames. Your Sales Coordinator must be notified in writing of the cancellation.   

In the event that any one or more of the provisions of this agreement is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions will not in any way be affected or impaired thereby.  Moreover, if any one or more of the provisions contained in this agreement is held to be excessively broad as to duration, scope, activity or subject, such provisions will be construed by limiting and reducing them so as to be enforceable to the maximum extent compatible with applicable law.  The provisions of this agreement may be waived, modified, amended or repealed, in full or in part, only upon the express written consent of both parties.
